Covia is looking for a dynamic Environmental Specialist who will have a positive impact on the Environmental team. The Environmental Specialist will be performing specialized environmental work and providing assistance for specific environmental tasks and projects as directed. This position will require the ability to work with limited supervision and interact with other employees in a positive and professional manner. Position will be 100% remote.
The successful candidate will have the following Key Accountabilities:
* Adhere to Covia's Environmental Policy and objectives.
* Assist with environmental aspects of an ESG program including reducing GHG emissions, Water Consumption, , and protection/habitat enhancement for species of concern, environmental partnerships, and community relations.
* Facilitate the preparation of environmental permit applications including air, water, surface mining and local land use permitting. This includes preparation of all necessary maps, flow sheets, reclamation and/or mitigation plans, and completing the required forms. Prepare presentation materials for public hearings, including local, state, and Federal permitting audiences.
* Provide environmental assistance to the plants and other departments with interpretation of environmental regulations and internal policies. Assist with the preparation and planning of corrective actions to satisfy environmental requirements or orders.
* Assist with conducting environmental audits, reporting on environmental deficiencies, and recommending strategies to comply with environmental regulations. Assist with the development of action items to improve environmental compliance at Covia sites based upon the audit findings.
* Assist with the maintenance of environmental compliance software system for assigned geographical area to comply with environmental laws, regulations, and permit conditions.
* Assist with the implementation and maintenance of Covia's Environmental Management System (EMS) to help achieve Covia's environmental goals through consistent review, evaluation, and improvement of its environmental performance.
The successful candidate will have the following Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in environmental science, or Environmental Engineer, or similar strongly preferred.
* 2+ years of related geology, Environmental Sciences, Earth Sciences experience required.
* 1-2 years' experience in Environmental Compliance at Industrial Sites
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Job Summary:
This is a broad-spectrum Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Professional position that provides technical and professional support services to operations staff, with guidance and direction from the Senior EHS Manager, and is an on-the-floor (high visibility/floor presence) position.
The Specialist will primarily oversee and maintain all environmental programs and compliance obligations for the site. This role will also be responsible for coordination of the Process Safety Management (PSM) program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Facilitate and manage environmental permitting such that all required permits are in place, current, and properly managed.
* Serve as coordinator for the facility's Risk Management Program (RPM) and Process Safety Management (PSM) for Anhydrous Ammonia.
* Oversee all environmental regulatory programs for the plants, including but not limited to: air, stormwater, wastewater, boilers, water usage, energy usage, waste hauler permits, hazardous materials, hazardous waste disposal and tracking, universal waste disposal and tracking, spill prevention, control, and countermeasures (SPCC), recycling, sustainability reporting, greenhouse gas tracking, and Tier II / Form R reporting.
* Maintain a compliance calendar, and issue regular reports on the status of all environmental programs and permits.
* Identify opportunities to (1) optimize energy and water usage and (2) minimize waste, in accordance with Hood sustainability priorities and targets, and manage all aspects of tracking and special projects to that end.
* Update, maintain, and implement the provisions of the plant's Integrated Contingency Plan.
* Work with and become a representative on the Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) for site location county.
* Give direction and training to all affected employees with regard to all environmental programs and permits.
* Work with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies to ensure that all environmental aspects, impacts, programs and permits are accepted and understood to be compliant.
* Other projects and duties in support of the EHS department, as needed.
Education and Experience:
* A BA/BS degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline, plus 3 to 5 years of related experience is preferred.
* A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office required (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
* Experience in manufacturing setting preferred, food & beverage is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
* Displays knowledge of federal, state and local environmental regulatory programs.
* Able to work with and give direction to all departments affected or impacted by EHS programs.

Responsibilities
In this position you will work as a key part of the Environmental, Safety & Health team at the Patriot Centre, Fieldale and Axton sites in Martinsville, VA area. You will provide technical support to ensure facility compliance with environmental regulations and permits. As the site subject matter in Wastewater, you will have significant experience with wastewater operations, storm water permits, plan development, (SWPP and SPC) and inspections. As the site functional specialist in air, and waste regulations, you will be responsible for managing Title V, CAM (Compliance Assurance Monitoring) plans for the Dyelines, MACT JJJJ (Web Coating Operations), MACT DDDDD (Boiler and Process Heaters), MACT ZZZZ (Stationary Generators), New Source Review (NSR), Refrigerant Compliance, and other air permits and programs. You will also have reporting duties for SARA 312 (Chemical Inventory) and SARA 313 (Toxic Release Inventory) reports, air emission inventory, and RCRA hazardous wastes. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining environmental requirement software and documentation.
You will be the facility liaison for regulatory agencies, corporate, and civic organizations. You will review and analyze environmental documentation issued by federal EPA, Virginia Department of Environmental Quality, and other state and local agencies to determine the impact on company operations. Then determine financial, public, and environmental impacts.
In addition to the Environmental responsibilities, by being a member of the Global HSES team, you will be one of the GHSES liaisons to the sites operating departments. As such, it requires you to have general knowledge of personnel safety, industrial hygiene and process safety management. You will also have a basic understanding of DOT and TSCA regulations as well.

Job Description
We are seeking an Inplant Ink Technician to work at our customer's site. The technician will serve as a liaison between INX and the customer and will be responsible for maintaining INX's on-site ink room. As an Inplant Tech you will be responsible for:
* Maintaining INX's excellent relationship with the customer
* Reviewing scheduling and coordinating jobs with customer
* Being available for service call-ins as needed
* Performing technical service, color matching, ink production and dispensing ink
* Evaluating production requirements based on customer schedule changes
* Controlling Work-off
* Inventory management and monthly consignment counts
* Performing job estimates
* Providing press-side technical support
* Completing monthly reports
* Performing Quality Control tests on incoming and site-manufactured batches
* Following all safety requirements
* Data entry accuracy
* Manufacturing batches under 100 pounds
Qualifications
To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:
* Have a High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
* Be able to match colors effectively and pass a color vision test
* Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
* Effectively communicate with peers and customers
* Have excellent written, reading comprehension and math skills
* Demonstrate proficient with Microsoft Suite programs and other computer skills
* Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
* Have good organization skills
* 2 to 5 years of work related experience

Job Summary
Lynk is looking for an experienced Spacecraft Technician to support the development, fabrication, integration, and testing of our ground and flight systems.
We build spacecraft fast so the perfect candidate for this role will have significant previous experience fabricating, assembling, and testing spacecraft particularly on rapid timelines. We are looking for people that enjoy a challenge and have a track record of creative thinking to solve unconventional problems.
Core Responsibilities
The Spacecraft Technician will perform a variety of electrical and/or mechanical fabrication and assembly tasks on ground and flight systems in a rapid pace development environment where documentation and guidance may be limited. This includes:
Constructing wiring harnesses and other cables requiring soldering from schematics, drawings, and oral instructions.
Fabricating and constructing mechanical assemblies from drawings and oral instructions.
Performing electrical or mechanical modifications, rework, and quality testing.
Performing light machining such as drilling, milling, metal lathe.
Performing component level environmental testing, such as, thermal, vacuum, vibe, capturing power profiles, and performing other testing in lab to screen components for use in flight.
Supporting assembly and environmental testing of spacecraft.
Maintaining test equipment, such as, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc., fabrication equipment, such as, 3D printers, laser cutters, machine tools, etc., and related component and supply stocks.
Qualifications
High school diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree.
3 to 6+ years of experience performing assigned related technical tasks.
Demonstrated ability to use standard electronic assembly tools and materials.
Demonstrated ability to perform soldering to standards required for spacecraft flight hardware.

How this role will be impactful
Responsible for scanning bins and boxes of product as they arrive from production. Use pallet jack to move product to and from blast freezer, and to load and unload trucks at the shipping dock.

Perform other comparable and related duties, as assigned.
