Richard Robinson has been President of Scholastic Inc. (NASDAQ: SCHL) since 1974, Chief Executive Officer since 1975, and was elected to the position of Chairman of the Board in 1982. Under Mr. Robinson’s leadership, Scholastic has become the world’s largest publisher and distributor of children’s books, a leading provider of print and digital instructional materials for pre-K to grade 12, and a producer of educational and entertaining children’s media. With annual revenue of $1.6 billion and more than 9,000 employees worldwide, the Company distributes one out of every three children’s books purchased in the US through school-based Scholastic Book Clubs and Book Fairs, instructional programs, non-profit partners, retail outlets and online.

As Chief Strategy Officer, Iole advances the company’s strategic and creative initiatives, including new offerings, business transformation and marketing across all businesses. Driven by a tireless commitment to innovation, Iole's strong track record of instigating effective change over the course of her 28 years with the company includes the significant expansion of the book publishing and distribution group during her tenure as President of Scholastic Canada, cementing the company’s position of #1 children’s book publisher in that market. In addition to her corporate oversight across businesses, Iole is responsible for the company’s digital content and e-commerce strategy, as well as the expansion of the award-winning Scholastic Entertainment division. In the last two years since taking over the division, the group now has more than 25 projects in development, ranging from animated series to live action films.

Ken was named Chief Financial Officer at Scholastic in 2017 after serving as Chief Accounting Officer. He joined the Company in May 2008 as Vice President, External Reporting and Compliance. Prior to Scholastic, Mr. Cleary was Senior Assistant Controller at Hertz Corporation, Assistant Controller at Engelhard Corporation, and Manager of Financial Reporting at Sequa Corporation. He began his career as an auditor for KPMG.
