Key Responsibilities * Safely transport student in the afternoon and evenings. * May also transport student athletes to and from athletic events, practices, and competitions as needed. * Check the operating condition of the bus before starting each trip and ensure the vehicle is in safe working order. * Report any operational defects or mechanical issues immediately to a supervisor. * Inform students of proper safety practices and ensure all safety procedures are followed. * Maintain orderly conduct of students while on the bus. * Keep the interior and exterior of the vehicle clean and neat. * Maintain accurate records of mileage, routes, time, and incidents. * Prepare and maintain maps of routes and pick-up/drop-off points. * Communicate effectively with coaches, athletic staff, and transportation supervisors. * May be required to operate a sports utility vehicle or other similar vehicle as needed. * May be required to perform minor maintenance tasks on the vehicle. * Follow all district policies, traffic laws, and safety regulations at all times.
