**Summary**

Tessera is seeking an experienced and reliable Shuttle/Bus Driver with a professional attitude.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Larger bus assignments, operations, and community support as needed.
Drives shuttle bus, cargo vans, and buses to transport trainees, government, and/or military personnel. The driver will drive the vehicle from individual or central loading areas to training locations, job sites, or another destination according to the assigned schedule.
May assist disabled passengers in or out of the vehicle.
Performs cargo delivery as assigned.
Performs preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
Cleans the vehicle and services the vehicle with fuel.
Shall always present a neat and clean appearance in accordance with the SOW.
Qualifications:
Must be able to pass an initial physical examination.
Must have effective oral and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
Tractor trailer driving experience preferred.

Bike to the Beach is a non-profit, 501c3, that develops networks of support for the autism and disabilities community through collaborative partnerships with non-profits, companies, and the community. Our signature fundraising events are cycling events from cities. We host these events and have a network of partners in 7 major markets around the country.
Job Description
Bike to the Beach is looking for help executing their cycling event for autism and disabilities. The position will help drive equipment to locations and help set-up/take-down equipment. Most sites will require carrying tables, coolers, chairs, etc. The event would need support on Friday, July 29th from 3:30am-9:00pm, with a few hours of break time in the middle at the beach from 1-4pm. The event begins in Baltimore, MD and ends in Dewey Beach, DE. The individual hired will be driving a 26 ft Box Truck along the route from Baltimore, over the Bay Bridge and out to Dewey Beach, then they will drive the truck back to Baltimore, MD
Projected Outline of the Day (Subject to change)
3:30am - Help unload truck and load bags onto truck in Baltimore
5:15am - Pick up Materials from Saw Mill Creek Park
5:00am - Drive to Annapolis
6:30am - Load truck with bikes (volunteers will help)
8:45am - Drive over Bay Bridge
9:15am - Unload Bikes (volunteers will help)
9:30am - Drive to Beach
10:00am - Help set up equipment at the beach
12:00-4:00pm - Off Time
5:15pm - Help load bikes on truck
6:00pm - Drive to Baltimore
8:30pm - Unload Bikes from Truck

Summary:
A Tack Truck Driver operates a heavy-duty truck equipped with a specialized asphalt distributor, primarily responsible for spraying asphalt tack on road surfaces prior to asphalt paving.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Must be able to demonstrate safe operation of assigned equipment based on changing operating conditions with an emphasis on backing up,
• Must be able to drive and operate a distributor truck equipped with a tank to spray asphalt emulsions on road surfaces in accordance with contract specifications,
• Drivers must be able to apply their experience and judgment to make decisions within their limit of authority,
• Responsible for operating the truck in a safe appropriate manner, including the loading process,
• Adhering to all DOT regulations,
• Responsible for keeping the vehicle in a clean state,
• Ability to read and interpret the equipment operator's manual,
• Work in inclement weather including snow details,
• Perform minor repairs to the vehicle or report to a supervisor,
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections,
• Ability to work in areas of uneven terrain and reduced room for maneuvering,

Job Requirements:
• Commercial driver's license (CDL) B with N tanker endorsement required,

• Must communicate effectively with job site supervisors and fellow employees,

Working Conditions:
• This job requires the ability to lift, pull, and push a minimum of 50 lbs., bend, stoop, kneel, reach, squat twist, and climb heavy equipment several times throughout the day. In addition, you must have the ability to be on your feet regularly and use hands, arms, and legs repeatedly on the job. This key position will deliver Cambria's products to a specified route of fabricators on time and with accuracy in a friendly and professional manner. As a Truck Driver for Cambria, not only are you responsible for driving, you will also load and unload trailers, and perform other additional warehouse duties as needed, all while providing a high level of customer service to our partners.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Retain knowledge of and comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Complete daily bills of lading
Maintain safe operation and clean appearance of truck
Maintain delivery, truck, and driving records
Reporting any maintenance malfunctions immediately after discovery of situation
Verify product while loading/unloading inbound/outbound trailers
Adhere to all safety requirements
Safely operate forklifts and cranes as needed

Requirements:
Must be at least 23 years old
1 year of commercial driving experience with a straight truck
Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
Meet Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and medical requirements

Ability to operate a straight truck with a high degree of attention, skill, and dexterity to prevent damage to material and equipment

Cambria's starting hourly range for this position is $25.00-$29.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position across all US locations.
