21 years or older
Valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and airbrakes endorsement.

Availability to workday, evening, weekend and overnight shifts as assigned.

The Bus Operator must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent (G.E.D.), a valid Driver's License, have a safe driving record and be at least 21 years of age. Must possess or have a willingness and the ability to obtain a Class B commercial driver's license without air brake restriction and with passenger endorsement within 90 days of hire. Training will be provided to individuals who do not have the required license when hired. Additional training will be provided to ensure compliance with Federal Transit Administration regulations.

Position Title: School Bus Paraprofessional
Location: West Fargo Transportation Department

Reports To: Director of Transportation
Term: Ongoing 182-day position beginning with the 2025-26 school year
Schedule: Mon-Fri approx. 8 hours/day. See Summary for more information.
Salary: Position follows the Classified Salary Schedule 2025-2026 at A134. Starting salary begins at $18.50-$20.15/hour, based on experience.

SUMMARY
: The School Bus Paraprofessional assists in the transportation of learners to and from school by maintaining order and safety of children on the bus and helping learners on and off the bus.
The School Bus Paraprofessional schedule is approximately 6:00-4:30pm with 8 working hours. There are multiple unpaid break times throughout the day depending on route schedules.

Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Prior experience working with school-aged learners is preferred.
Prior paraprofessional experience is preferred.
Prior experience working in a school setting preferred.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondences in the English language.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally, expressively, and reactively.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Exercise confidentiality, discretion, and good judgement.
Adhere to the assigned work schedule by maintaining regular and punctual attendance.

We are looking for a Petroleum driver within a 50-mile radius of Fargo, ND. to deliver petroleum-based products in bulk, transport them via Semi-Truck and Trailer, and unload products at various customer locations. The position has a flexible schedule of either a Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday.
Responsibilities:
Loading Petroleum products at refineries, ethanol plants, and bulk storage facilities.
Unloading Petroleum products at numerous customer locations such as gas stations, airports, refineries, and bulk storage facilities.
Ability to pump on and off petroleum and ethanol products using a Power Take Off.
Dropping, hooking and connecting trailers to semi-truck. This includes manually raising and lowering dolly legs on the trailer with up to 50 pounds of torque resistance.
Hooking up hoses and fittings to load and unload these Petroleum products safely and securely.
Checking customer tank levels prior to unloading to make sure tanks do not fill past 90% ullage.
Properly using vapor recovery hose at all loading and unloading locations.
Reaching, pulling and pushing Petroleum hoses weighing up to 50 lbs.
Climbing up ladder on trailer to check tank and levels and make sure the load is secured.
The maximum weight the ladder can accommodate is 450 pounds with a 200 pound at the top of the trailer.
Climbing in and out of Semi-Truck using 3 points of contact.
Loading exactly what petroleum products, appropriate quantities, and correct suppliers on all loads per dispatch instructions.
General conversations in English with dispatchers, customers, and loaders to accommodate their needs.

Required Qualifications:
Valid Class A - CDL driver's license with tanker and hazmat endorsement.
