GENERAL SUMMARY
Operate bus safely, providing transportation for the public and employees, primarily between parking lots and the terminal.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Operate bus in a safe, efficient manner in highly congested areas
* Provide direction and assistance to the public
* Handle complaints in a responsible, respectful manner
* Maintain bus in safe operating condition throughout the shift, i.e., periodically clean windows, adjust mirrors, check lights, etc.
* Check safety features of the bus
* Refuel bus and wash windows at the end of shift
* Wash and clean buses
* Direct traffic
* Engage in snow removal procedures as directed by the supervisor
* Conduct off-premises bus runs and provide transportation services for special events as directed by the supervisor
* Observe and report all unusual security situations to the Police Department
* Observe and report security violations, unusual situations, hazardous conditions and traffic congestion problems
* Complete all individually assigned duties in accordance with stated department and IAA policies, goals, rules and regulations
* Perform all of the essential functions of the job outlined above without creating a direct threat to the safety of oneself, subordinates, or other person(s) in and around the airport
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
* Must possess class B CDL with a passenger and air brake endorsement
