Position Summary The School Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, as well as to school-sponsored events and activities. Essential Responsibilities Safely operate a school bus along assigned routes and schedules. Conduct daily pre- and post-trip safety inspections; report any mechanical issues. Attend required training sessions, meetings, and in-service days. Complete all required documentation accurately, including inspection and trip reports. Perform other duties as assigned. Key Responsibilities: Safely transport students to and from school, home, and designated work-study placements throughout Kansas City and surrounding areas. Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers by following all applicable traffic laws, safety protocols, and school policies. Maintain punctual and dependable route schedules. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in safe operating condition.
