Reports To: Coordinator, Minor League Operations Status: Part-Time The Tampa Bay Rays are seeking individuals who will transport minor league players and staff safely, securely, and professionally to and from club-provided housing and Charlotte Sports Park for games, practices, and development programs from January through November. Driver(s) will be scheduled in shifts using team-provided vehicles. Responsibilities: Drive team-provided vans to safely transport players and staff to games, practices, and development programs at assigned times. Transport players and staff to off-site programming in Port Charlotte and occasionally the Tampa Bay area, including community activities and appointments scheduled by Player Development administrators. Drive players and staff to and from the airport for travel related to their employment, including reporting for programs, breaking from camp, end-of-season travel, player transfers, and releases. Most trips would be to Tampa International, Sarasota, or Southwest Florida International (Fort Myers), although players are occasionally routed through Orlando and Miami, depending on flight availability. Always maintain strict standards of confidentiality and operate with integrity in a player-centered environment. Drive players to and from appointments upon request from the Rays' medical staff.
