School Bus Driver - Job Responsibilities Purpose: The School Bus Driver is responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation of students over a specified route, according to a time schedule, for curriculum and extra-curricular activities. Duties and Responsibilities: Follow all rules, policies and procedures of Classical Charter Schools of Southport, along with regulations pertaining to the Department of Transportation. Complies with all traffic ordinance. Observes all mandatory safety regulation for school buses. In tandem with the Bus Monitor, maintains discipline when students are on the us.
