The noise level in the work environment will vary from somewhat loud to extremely loud. To ensure continuity of services, a different work location may be necessary in the event of a health crisis or disruptive situation that requires the closing of school and/or office buildings. An employee's eligibility for a varied work location will be determined by the superintendent of schools. Expectations and guidelines for this change will be distributed by the employee's supervisor, based on his/her role and responsibilities. To provide transportation to and from the North Side YMCA and elementary schools utilizing the YMCA 14 passenger vans. This is a very high energy program, requiring positive interaction with the children continually throughout the shift. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop meaningful and sustainable relationships with members, donors and volunteers. Establish a positive relationship with each child. Ensure the safety and well being of all children. Report all injuries and incidences to the site coordinator. Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings to help plan activities. Develop positive relationships with parents and staff. Display YMCA core values (Honesty, Caring, Respect and Responsibility at all times) Position may require work outside the regularly scheduled program hours. Requirements EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Must be certified in PR/CPR, AED, O2, and First Aid.
