ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES
Monitor the authorized access into a school through designated entrance locations during designated periods of the school day.
Keep building and grounds clear of people not on official school business.
Escort violators or school policy offenders to school authorities and assists administration as needed.
Serve as a greeter at designated entrances ensuring that visitors follow proper sign-in procedures and offer assistance by giving directions and answering questions.
Check hall passes and escort students as necessary.
Patrol and supervise hallways, cafeteria, restrooms, entrance ways, school grounds and boiler rooms as well as parking and bus areas.
Assist school resource officers (SRO) as directed by Principal or designee.
Will carry a portable radio provided by the District and display a District/school identification badge.
Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
OTHER POSSIBLE PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Assume traffic and parking lot responsibilities as assigned by Principal or designee.
Assist as directed by school authorities in stopping disturbances and undue distractions.
Confer with the Principal/Assistant Principal on matters of concern.
Attend safety and other meetings as requested by the Principal or designee.
Assume evacuation drill/lock down responsibilities as assigned by Principal or designee.
PAY INFORMATION
The pay for this position is either the daily sub rate of $160 per day without benefits OR $20 per hours with access to benefits/retirement.
HOURS & FTE
This position will work 2 days per week. 5:30 am to 1:30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid break.

ROCS Transit primarily operates between the hours of Monday - Friday, 8-4:30p. Vehicles primarily operated include paratransit vans, mini-vans, and buses.
Responsibilities
Transport passengers over specified routes according to time schedule.
Perform and record manufacturer recommended maintenance/repairs of vehicle.
Assist passengers in entering and exiting vehicle.
Assist frail and disabled persons to door and carry packages if necessary.
Inform supervisor of progress and problem areas.
Maintain required records and reporting.
Comply with traffic regulations.
Perform required daily vehicle inspection.
Ensure that vehicle is kept clean and orderly.
Maintain confidentiality in appropriate matters.
Attend necessary staff meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications
Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license, a good driving record and proof of auto insurance.
Must be physically able to assist persons needing help while using the service.
Good customer services and communication skills.
