Ensures proper condition of bus by performing pre and post trip inspections. Ensures that improper conditions are reported to the Transportation Department by completing a repair order request. Ensures proper and quick evacuation in case of an emergency. Maintains knowledge of school bus rules, regulations, and procedures by attending inservices and training as specified by the Bus Driver Trainer. Strives continually to promote the safety, health and comfort of students and employees in the performance of duties. Follows established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties. Maintains confidentiality. Maintains a high level of ethical behavior as is expected of all District employees. Maintains professional growth by attending in-service and meetings as requested/required. Performs any other duties as assigned.
