This position is responsible for ensuring safe and timely transportation for company personnel between designated locations. Arrive at each shuttle collection point prior to a scheduled departure time.

Adhere to the passenger and load capacity for each shuttle vehicle
Convey passengers to and from predetermined pick up and drop off locations
Prior to departure, ensure that all passengers disembark safely with all their personal belongings before leaving to your next drop off/ pick up location.
Communicate with your supervisor on departure times and schedule
Attend required safety meeting and or training as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
* Be at least 21 years of age and at least five years driving a passenger vehicle.
* Valid Washington State driver's license.

* Be on-call for routes, starting at 6:00 a.m.
* Be knowledgeable driving all buses in the transportation fleet.

* Be able to read maps and data sheets for routes.

TRAINING CLASS REQUIREMENTS:
* 40+ hours of classroom and/or in-bus, on the road training.
* Quiz held after each classroom day.
* Driving hours to include driving transit-style, conventional-style, and mini buses.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This is a general posting for one or more BusDriver/Substitute BusDriver positions. Positions may be full or part-time and will be filled as specific openings are identified.
2024-25 Transportation Personnel salary classification range $24.73/hour to $38.50/hour. BusDriver and Substitute BusDrivers start at $24.73/hour during training, $32.20/hour per during probation and $35.78/hour after 60 workday probation period based on negotiated collective bargaining agreement, 20-40 hours per week, for a 180-day annual assignment.
BusDrivers - Medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, and life-insurance eligibility is based upon 630 hours worked within a school year (eligible following training period). Retirement provided through Washington State Department of Retirement Systems. Holiday pay based on negotiated bargaining agreement.
Substitute BusDrivers are not eligible for benefits.

Work Environment:

Necessary tasks may include but are not limited to pushing, pulling, bending, lifting, squatting, running, climbing, and jumping.
