Job Description Responsible for providing assistance to clients and fellow staff members as follows: Escorts clients to and from the vehicle, from the residence and facility as required by the company procedure policy. 2. If the client is ambulatory, the aide will assist the client into the vehicle and secure them into their seat, if a client is confined to a wheelchair, the aide will assist in the loading and securing of the wheelchair. Prior to the vehicle moving, the aide will check to see that all clients are wearing their seat belts during transport. 4. Upon greeting clients, check their physical condition and inform the sending facility of any obvious injury or problem. Check to see that clients are properly dressed. Observe if they are wearing shoes, jackets in the winter etc., make sure clients leave the vehicle in the same manner as they boarded. 6.
