Responsibilities
Assess student needs related to emotional, behavioral, social, or family issues impacting school performance.
Provide individual and group counseling to support students' mental health and social development.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop intervention strategies and support plans.
Connect families with community resources such as mental health services, housing assistance, or food support.
Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with behavioral challenges.
Advocate for students' rights and access to services, particularly those with disabilities or in crisis.
Participate in multidisciplinary teams, including IEP (Individualized Education Program) and 504 Plan meetings.
Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies, trauma, or incidents of abuse or neglect.
Qualifications
Masters degree in social work from an accredited institution
Minimum one year of experience in working with children. New graduates are welcome to apply!

Prepare test materials and room for testing prior to appointment.
