A school psychologist assistant provides support to children and students of different educational levels to help them manage their social, behavioral, mental, emotional, and learning problems. They formulate and implement therapeutic programs that address difficulties such as anger management, learning difficulties, and anxiety. They also counsel the children and their families to help solve conflicts they may be facing.

School psychologist assistants usually work at schools, universities, mental health institutions, correctional facilities, and community services. They work closely with parents, teachers, and administrators to efficiently execute their duties.
