Facilitate reevaluation process as outlined in the Hardin County Schools Special Education Policies and Procedures (identify students due for reevaluation, compiling previous assessment and current progress information into Triennial Reevaluation Report Form, participating in ARC meeting to discuss eligibility and reevaluation needs, assessing as needed, compiling assessment report, and attending ARC to communicate results).
Assist school and district staff in regards to Special Education students who have transferred from another school district. Request and review previous school records, assist schools in implemented current IEP or placing students on Temporary Placement, determine students' eligibility for services under Kentucky Guidelines, initiate reevaluation process when records are incomplete or inconsistent with Kentucky requirements.

Such areas may include grant application writing, the development of performance assessment procedures, curriculum design, competency testing and remedial programming.
* Providing professional development opportunities for teachers, administrators, and other school personnel: and develop systematic research programs to answer questions of concern to school personnel, such as the relationships between educational programs and pupil achievement. This service would be provided as the need arises.
* Assist with testing for the gifted program.
* Assist with early childhood assessment and intervention.
* Interpret the psychologist's role to the community.
* Assist in beginning programs for the children who are found to be “at risk” and provide for parent training as needed.
