Duties and Responsibilities Include but not limited to: Student Learning Consults with teachers and intervention specialists in the area of classroom behavior management, academic and behavioral interventions, proper implementation of IEP goals and BIP goals. Consults and collaborates with principals with respect to the special education program, RTI processes, best practices in running IAT meetings, pre-referral interventions, and proper implementation of BIPs. Promotes school policies and practices aligned with the Character Education and anti-bullying programs and ensures the safety of all students by reducing school violence, bullying, and harassment. Conducts group sessions with students related to anti-bullying strategies, anger management strategies, problem solving, self-regulation and self-determination.
