RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide academic, cognitive, & behavioral assessments for student's pre-K through 21 that are relevant to the presenting problem and student characteristics and are intervention and results oriented. * Facilitate the Building Assessment Team in the assessment and evaluation of students, including Functional Behavior Assessments. * Case manage student evaluations. * Participate in intakes of new students entering the district or school. * Provide individual and group therapy with students. * Provide support to classroom teachers in facilitation of daily social skills groups. * Provide leadership in the building in utilization of multitier systems of support for behavior including PBIS, social emotional learning, and Collaborative Problem Solving techniques. * Monitor and support implementation of systems of support and individual student plans. * Lead team meetings with classroom staff to formulate intervention strategies for individual students and for the classroom. * Provide services that assist parents and professionals in meeting the educational and mental health needs of children and youth. * Consult and collaborate with educators, parents, children and other professionals or agencies to improve student outcomes. * Work effectively and cooperatively with parents, teachers, administrators, support staff, and community. * Develop individual, group or system level interventions, which improve or resolve social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs as they relate to educational progress. * Provide support, instruction, technical assistance, and ongoing monitoring of progress toward measurable, identified goals for students at individual, group, or systems level. * Participate in personal ongoing professional development through membership in professional organizations, staff development, consulting, and research. * Involvement in data analysis and evaluation, using data outcomes for implementing plans at an individual, group or systems level. * Assist the program with the supervision of interns and /or practicum students. * Maintain student records and confidentiality. * Participate in State, Federal and District testing requirements. * Perform Child Find responsibilities. * Perform other duties as assigned.
