Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
Interpret assessment results and prepare clear, concise, and comprehensive written reports.
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of effective goals and interventions for students with disabilities.
Support district initiatives including Multi Tiered Systems of Support and Inclusive Practices
Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and support the development of Positive Behavior Intervention Plans for students with challenging behaviors.
Stay current on relevant research, best practices, and legal and ethical guidelines in the field of school psychology.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education.

Valid State of Maine Department of Education School Psychologist (093) Certification.

Supervise and oversee the work of the patient's assigned psychometrist to ensure accurate and reliable data collection
