Please see Summary for more information. Date of last review: July 2025 SUMMARY : The School Psychologist provides support to learners to help them succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Will collaborate with educators, guardians, and other professionals to help create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments. Salary: In addition to the salary for the 2025-2026 school year, this position offers a Medicaid-funded stipend of $10,000. More information on funding, availability, and continuity of the stipend can be provided by Director of Special Education. The position also offers an annual $2,000 stipend for maintaining Certificate of Clinical Competence in order to bill Medicaid. Provides resources related to Special Education disabilities, eligibilities, and Special Education law for school personnel and families. Provides psychological evaluation and assessment for early entrance, whole, or partial grade acceleration. Utilizes district guaranteed and viable curriculum including the scope & sequence of academic and social emotional learning targets along with the defined proficiency scales. Utilizes the district protocol for maintaining information on learner progress. Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and, in harmony with the goals, establishes clear objectives for all lessons, units, projects and the like to communicate these objectives to learners. Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondences in the English language. Practice Specifics * A clinical neuropsychology practice primarily located in an outpatient medical setting at Essentia's South University Clinic in Fargo. * Referral sources include neurology, interventional neurology, primary care, speech language pathology, occupational therapy, psychiatry, psychology, and physical medicine and rehabilitation. * Conditions seen include a wide range of neurodevelopmental conditions, acquired and traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, cancer, complex psychiatric conditions, and frequent differential diagnoses of neurodegenerative diseases. * Provision of consultation and education to medical colleagues, family members, and others.
