About the Team
The Licensed SchoolPsychologist conducts comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations; consults with school personnel and parents regarding planning, implementing and evaluating individual and group interventions; and functions as a member of the building-based student support team in providing services to students. This is a virtual position, but some in-person work will be required throughout the year.

About the Opportunity
Conduct virtual psychoeducational evaluations for students K through 12 according to federal, state, and school guidelines
Maintain accurate records of special education services, IEPs, evaluations, and compliance documentation
Complete initial evaluations and re-evaluations
Provide virtual administration of cognitive and achievement assessments following best practice tele-assessment standards
Conduct other portions of the evaluation, including interviews and virtual observations, adaptive behavior, social/emotional behavior, and executive functioning assessments
Integrate assessment results into a comprehensive evaluation report and submit paperwork as needed
Present evaluation findings at team meetings and collaborate with school teams regarding eligibility determination
Maintain knowledge of principles and evidence-based practices
Attend relevant training offered by county agencies and the department of education to stay current on regulations and best practices
Collaborate on intervention planning, MTSS, and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to address learning and behavioral needs
Support and coach staff through professional development and team meetings
Keep thorough records and help maintain compliance with all required reports
Contribute to policies and procedures

About You
Experience in school or special education settings preferred
Active West VirginiaPsychologist License
Proficiency with computers and online documentation skills

About the Team
The Licensed SchoolPsychologist conducts comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations; consults with school personnel and parents regarding planning, implementing and evaluating individual and group interventions; and functions as a member of the building-based student support team in providing services to students. This is a virtual position, but some in-person work will be required throughout the year.
Please note - while this is an online school position and all instruction occurs virtually, travel and face to face attendance will be required several times per year to support in person state testing and student events.

About the Opportunity
Conduct virtual psychoeducational evaluations for students K through 12 according to federal, state, and school guidelines
Maintain accurate records of special education services, IEPs, evaluations, and compliance documentation
Complete initial evaluations and re-evaluations
Provide virtual administration of cognitive and achievement assessments following best practice tele-assessment standards
Conduct other portions of the evaluation, including interviews and virtual observations, adaptive behavior, social/emotional behavior, and executive functioning assessments
Integrate assessment results into a comprehensive evaluation report and submit paperwork as needed
Present evaluation findings at team meetings and collaborate with school teams regarding eligibility determination
Maintain knowledge of principles and evidence-based practices
Attend relevant training offered by county agencies and the department of education to stay current on regulations and best practices
Collaborate on intervention planning, MTSS, and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to address learning and behavioral needs
Support and coach staff through professional development and team meetings
Keep thorough records and help maintain compliance with all required reports
Contribute to policies and procedures

About You
Experience in school or special education settings preferred
Active West VirginiaPsychologist License
Proficiency with computers and online documentation skills
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and exhibit sound judgment while maintaining that confidentiality
Have familiarity with a variety of evaluation tools
Demonstrates a reliable, dependable, and trustworthy work ethic
Ability to manage difficult or emotional client situations
Ability to make sound judgments after all available information has been gathered or communicated
Demonstrates a mature attitude and insight into matters affecting department, self and / or company welfare
Demonstrated leadership and management ability
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure, effectively prioritize and execute tasks to meet deadlines consistently
Ability to learn new technologies and acquire new skills through independent study, professional training, and from more senior team members
Ability to work independently and contribute to a team
Understanding and ability to manage confidential information
Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks.
