    Job Description School Psychologist Position type: Full Time Department: Special Education Department Reports to: Director of Special Education Compensation: $80 per hour Conduct psychoeducational evaluation of students suspected of needing special education. The psychoeducational evaluation consists of standardized cognitive and academic achievement testing, as well as social/emotional/behavioral ratings scales from parents and teachers. The results of the tests are used to help determine a student's eligibility for special education. Major Responsibilities Write the findings of the evaluation into a comprehensive report. Participates in MTSS data review in order to identify students and develop tier 2 interventions. Administer standardized cognitive and achievement tests. Administer social/emotional/behavioral ratings scales from parents and teachers. Responsible for conducting interviews with teachers and parents to identify student's strengths, weaknesses and developmental history. Report the findings of the evaluation to parents and teachers at IEP meetings. Consult with teachers and other administrators to review intervention data.
