Responsibilities:
The purpose of the forkliftoperator/material handler position is to use a forklift to select product based on customer orders and load the order on trailers for transport to customers.
The safety of our food and our partners are our No. 1 priority. That's why you'll be expected to follow good manufacturing practices and housekeeping guidelines, wear designated personal protective equipment (such as gloves, hard hat, etc.) and meet OSHA safety requirements.
Overtime and weekend work is possible for full-time positions. We also need you to arrive on time to work and maintain a satisfactory attendance record.

Assures inventory accuracy by running and verifying inventory reports
Rotates stock as required
Operatesforklift and pallet jack safely and efficiently

Keeps area clean by performing general daily sanitation

The Shipping Loader (General) is responsible to safely and efficiently load trailers with finished product.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following; other duties may be assigned
* Responsible for the general operation and basic maintenance of the auto scale
* Performs manual scaling at the re-weigh station, including its general operation and basic maintenance
* Operates hand held scanner equipment to properly inventory and palletize product
* Constant repetition of stacking boxes weighing 45-50 pounds on pallets which are segregated by product code
* Assists with rework by either repairing the cases or identifying them for return
* Assures inventory accuracy by running and verifying inventory reports
* Rotates stock as required
* Operatesforklift and pallet jack safely and efficiently
* Loads trucks both with equipment and by hand, which can vary in weight up to 50 pounds per case
* Ability to fill customer orders accurately using handheld scanner equipment
* Keeps area clean by performing general daily sanitation
* Monitors x-ray process, making necessary adjustments
* Reports shipping problems or concerns to Supervisor or Lead person immediately
* Monitors process for partial cases to be worked into the process
* Other duties as assigned

About the Role:
• Ensure and maintain a high level of sanitation, food safety, and safe working environment
• Operation, inspection, setup, adjustment, and basic maintenance of fluming equipment, relish cutting equipment, forklifts, hoppers, blanchers and desalt tanks
• Verify that the correct produce is being used for each area of work, including produce rotation
• Keeps inventory, loading areas and machinery clean

POSITION SUMMARY: The Production Operator position is responsible for monitoring equipment performance and making adjustments and changeovers. Set-up and close down of machines in area assigned is also required.

Review and check orders
Create pallet labels, and store product in proper storage locations using RF scan gun.
Rotate product FIFO
Assist with Office/Clerical duties as needed. Complete all necessary paperwork
Update orders with all required information (Name, Shipping lane) and mark off items once they have been picked. Make sure to use the correct license plate (LP) when picking orders
Make sure all partial skids are being pulled before pulling full skids.
Maintain designated work area assigned by using the 5s procedure to provide a safe and clean work environment at all times.
Make sure only the equipment assigned is being used.
Place packing list inside upright hand corner once picked and wrapped for the final audit.
Weigh out ingredients for current and future production needs.
Accurately read batching sheets and prioritize weigh out needs according to the customer and internal specifications.
Accurately identify and record lot code, product, and other ingredient information.
Must maintain a clean working area and follow all GMP's
Contribute to team effort by performing other duties and assignments as requested
Must adhere to all regulations, food safety procedures, and company policies

Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED Preferred.
Experience:
Forklift Certification (Reach Truck, Sit Down, Stand Up, Pallet Jack)
Skills Required:
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities
Ability to use an RF scan gun
2+ years WMS experience
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with supervisors/managers, colleagues and individuals inside and outside the organization.
Must be able to speak, read, and comprehend English to ensure understanding of safety instructions, work procedures, policies, and communications essential to job performance.
