We are currently hiring for 3rd (10pm-6am) shift plant operators. The pay is $26.55/hour after 60 days with the certification pay and shift premium pays an additional $1.50/hr for 3rd shift after 2 months! That is $28.05/hour at two months of employment! On top of that, time and a half overtime (up to $40/hour) is paid after 8 hours in day so if you are looking for additional hours and pay this is a great job for you! Competitive insurance benefits start day one of employment! This includes medical, prescription drug, dental and vision insurance. Overtime and Saturday work may be required. It is anticipated to work around 2 Saturdays a month.
Job Duties
As a Production Manufacturing Operator, you'll play an important role in making sure our dairy and plant based processing lines run smoothly. This includes operating the equipment, packaging the final product and performing many different quality checks to make sure we're meeting customer requirements.
The safety of our food and our partners are our No. 1 priority. That's why you'll be expected to follow good manufacturing practices and housekeeping guidelines, wear designated personal protective equipment (such as gloves, hard hat, apron, etc.) and meet OSHA safety requirements.
Operate cheese processing equipment & wrapping equipment
Perform clean-up duties
Complete food production records
Operate computer/production screens
Work both individually and as a team member
Minimum Requirements:
Computer literacy
Strong communications skills
Must be able to work well with a team
Maintain a satisfactory attendance record
Preferred Requirements:
Previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not required.
Other relevant work experience preferred, but not required.
Stable work history
Mechanical aptitude to operate equipment
Schedule/Shifts:
We have 3rd (10pm-6am) shift position available. There will be some required overtime. Overtime hours for 3rd shift could be 6pm-6am or 10pm-10am. Overtime is paid after working 8 hours in a day (up to $40/hour).
This position typically works Monday-Friday but will have some potential Saturday work (around 2 Saturdays per month).
Pay starts at $24.85/hour and after 60 days with the certification pay is $26.55/hour. Overtime is paid after working 8 hours in a day (up to $40/hour).
Shift Premium after 2 months of employment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 51 pounds on a frequent basis.
Ability to tolerate hot and wet conditions during production clean-up

About the Role:
The Operator II role at the Manawa location provides support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

About the Role:
Adherence to TreeHouse Foods Code of Ethics, and behavior according to TreeHouse Way.

Assist the maintenance department as needed to accomplish business goals.
Perform line changeovers and make minor repairs to production equipment.
Assist with daily line start-up and operations as needed.
Specific training and daily operational checklists will be used for each machine/area.
AM (Autonomous Maintenance) responsibility for all equipment in the assigned area.
Must be able to properly perform Lock Out/Tag Out on all equipment in the area of responsibility.
Rotational/fill-in machine operator coverage as required based on business needs.
Overtime before and /or after shifts and on normally scheduled off days may be required.
Work in other areas /departments as assigned

The Process Dryer Operator will be responsible for the manufacturing and handling of raw materials and/or finished products at the planton the Flash and/or Roll Dryer Lines. A successful applicant will be responsible for safely operating equipment in the assigned area while maintaining a high degree of quality for our products and working as efficiently as possible for our continuous operation facilities.
Core Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Varying levels of positions may include the following tasks:
Operating mechanized the Flash and/or Roll Dryer line's equipment safely, efficiently, and within specifications. Troubleshooting, inspecting, and fixing issues that arise with equipment as applicable. Identifying and recommending opportunities for improvement.
Prepare batches per SOP's
Monitoring the operation from the control room on computers, if applicableand make adjust as necessary to maintain production rates and quality specifications.
Sampling and testing products
Ensure finished product quality parameters are met according to batch sheets
Perform required in-process testing (i.e., Brabender, sieve, magnet checks, pull samples, moisture checks, etc.) per SOPs and complete required reports.
Preparing railcars and trucks; loading and unloading trucks, railcars and bags, as necessary for packaging
Packing, inspecting, and dumping of bags and, totes., sacks or drums
Filling tanks or transferring product as necessary
Performing tasks of varying physical demand such as moving hoses and cleaning equipment
Complete sanitation procedures per Sanitation Manual and Sanitation SOP's. Complete all required documentation as necessary.
Participate in problem solving, continuous improvement efforts and cost reduction teams, safety efforts and submit ideas as appropriate
Restock supplies as needed.
Perform routine operator-based maintenance checks and monitor equipment for proper maintenance. Write work orders as necessary.
Participate in training new employees.
Perform routine housekeeping responsibilities in compliance with GMP's and dust mitigation efforts.
Comply with all employee handbook provisions.
Follow all outlined safety procedures.
Read and interpret documents, reports and results and take necessary actions.
Back-up the other dryer operator.
Maintaining inventory
Handling movement of and working with chemicals as appropriate
