We are looking for a FRONT OFFICE MANAGER to join our Front Office team at The Hoxton, Chicago. We are an ambitious company in need of someone who will take on the crucial role of supporting the success of our dynamic property through assisting in managing the operations and Front Office team and ensuring guests have a stellar Hox experience. The role reports to the Director of Rooms.

What you'll do…
* Work with the entire Front Office team to deliver personalized service that exceeds guest expectations.
* Support an environment of learning to ensure all members of the team are trained to understand and follow all standards of operation.
* Ensure the accuracy of data in all systems and support the necessary daily reports for all departments as directed by the Director of Rooms.
* Manage the daily overbooking levels and work collaboratively with all departments to ensure maximum occupancy.
* Use a wide range of coaching skills to ensure that the team are well motivated and informed of day to day activities.
* Support the ambitious but realistic objectives for the team to ensure maximum occupancy and outstanding guest satisfaction levels.
* Monitor the performance of the team and give regular feedback to the DOR and the team members.
* Support recruitment efforts for the Front Office team.
* Help manage all costs related to the Front Office team to agreed budgets and forecast levels including inventory and productivity/payroll
* Support the control and management of the front desk retail.
* Support the management of the night team ensuring that all night audit procedures are monitored, and figures and supporting documents are given to the Finance team.
* Play an active role in projects that involve the development and evolution of the Front Office team. Work collaboratively with other departments to solve issues and create delightful guest experiences.
* Assist the Director of Rooms to manage any changes in operating procedures.
* Assist the Director of Rooms with any statistical analysis of the Front Desk team.
* Process payroll weekly and ensure that all time and attendance is recorded as it pertains to the schedule provided by the DOR
* Play a key role in team development and training.
* Be hands-on and willing to regularly work both front and back of house, maintaining lobby presence, spending time with guests and team members alike.

As part of our Housekeeping staff, the Houseman is responsible for the cleanliness of our public areas and back of house spaces. Other responsibilities include ensuring guest satisfaction, providing anticipatory guest service and exceeding guest expectations. Duties may also include deep cleaning projects and/or floor care within areas as required. The Houseman will assist with trash and recycling, supports the front desk with room deliveries, kitchen clean-up, room attendants, and laundry.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous customer service experience.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Maintains high sanitation standards throughout the area of responsibility

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Minimum of High School education preferred

The Laundry Attendant will ensure that all the hotel's linen is properly laundered, dried and stored each day. Will perform tasks such as washing, drying and folding sheets, towels, blankets and other hotel linens in accordance with company quality standards. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for sorting items by color, weight and fabric types and making sure items are washed in the proper machine cycle and follow guidelines for treating and removing stains when required. Ironing and steaming of items may be required as well. Attendants will distribute the processed linens according to company requirements. In addition,
Laundry Attendants are expected to coordinate their duties with other hotel staff.
