ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Utilizing machinery for the transfer and cutting of material. * Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed. * Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials or other stock items. * Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or convey orders to packing station. * Mark materials with identifying information. * Retrieve material and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas. * Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. * Safely execute loading and unloading in restricted spaces. * Must be able to apply mathematical concepts in order to: read a tape measure and calipers, comprehend decimals and fractions, among other calculations. * Must have working knowledge of using and understanding feeler gauges for the squaring blocks * Maintain regular and predictable attendance. * Perform other related duties as assigned.
