Under general supervision and direction, performs routine to moderately complex assembly to achieve daily-targeted output, quality and productivity standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs routine to moderately complex assembly or subassembly on assigned products using machinery and/or tools (may use hand tools and power tools) as well as correct production methods to ensure accuracy and quality of finished products. Maintains production output levels consistent with set standards.
Sets-up, maintains and/or calibrates equipment. Monitors machinery and advises maintenance of necessary repairs.
Thoroughly checks products to ensure they are conforming to the specifications. May perform testing, quality inspections and reworking of deficient components and/or finished products to ensure efficient operation.
Informs management on issues related to quality, production, and/or safety, which may adversely affect meeting the areas goals. Makes recommendations for general improvements to the production process.
Manages parts bin quantities and notifies the appropriate person when quantities are low or insufficient to maintain production.
Documents actions by completing required production and quality forms.
Maintains a clean and safe work area by complying with company procedures.
Works with others to streamline process flow and reduce waste.
Promote company safety policies, workmanship standards and operational procedures among team members while displaying strong quality consciousness at all times.

Your Role
As a MachineOperator II, you will support the Team Lead in leading and motivating line crew to meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Within our Fabrication business, the role of MachineOperator is to safely produce a quality product according to the guidelines of a customer's work order in a team environment with other operators. REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / CERTIFICATIONS:
High School degree or GED.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
PREFERRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
College/Trade School degree in Manufacturing.
1 year experience as MachineOperator or Assistant.
REQUIRED SKILLS (TECHNICAL, CLERICAL, LANGUAGE, ETC.):
Knowledge of how to perform basic quality checks.
Familiar with production terminology.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong work ethic.
Basic understanding of OEE and how it is used to measure machine overall performance.
Work in accordance with all company policies and procedures.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Fluent in English required.
Fluency in Spanish a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
