Position Summary
The incumbent's primary purpose is to serve as an Instructional Technologist for the Center for Teaching and Learning's Student Success efforts providing instructional design and learning analytics support. This position reports to the director for the Center for Teaching and Learning in Academic Affairs. In addition to providing culturally responsive hybrid and online course design services for Center for Teaching and Learning core programs, responsibilities include management and assessment of special course design and faculty professional development projects as funded by Federal, State, and CSU system external grants that are administered through the center. Must be able to work collaboratively with a diversity of faculty and administrators across the university as well as private and public granting agencies. Job responsibilities include leading and developing professional development curriculum for workshops and faculty learning community programs. Must be a flexible learner capable of shifting technology focus as new teaching modalities and learning tools emerge.
FLSA: Exempt (Not eligible for overtime compensation)
Anticipated Hiring Range: $6,492 per month (Step 1). Anticipated hiring rate is near or at the minimum of the classification salary range.
CSU Classification Salary Range: $6,492 per month (Step 1) - $ 9,458 per month (Step 20)

Minimum Qualifications
To enter this classification, a basic foundation of knowledge and skills in technical information systems and application program packages is a prerequisite. This foundation would normally be obtained through a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, educational technology, communications, or related fields, or similar certified coursework in applicable fields of study. Foundation knowledge and skills for the Information Technology Consultant, depending on the nature of the position assignment, may include working knowledge of common software application packages, equipment platforms, reference database systems and sources, and training methods and a basic understanding of networks, data communication, and multimedia systems.
Required Qualifications Knowledge of

The current base salary range for this role is between $69,070 - $127,770. OVERVIEW:
The Senior Clinical Learning & Development Specialist will play a key role in developing and maintaining user-friendly, innovative clinical training systems and programs related to RxSight's technology. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop and update continued education content (curricula, digital and print modules, workshops, and clinical training materials) to elevate knowledge and consistency across the field team.
* Partner with the Director, Clinical Education & Support to translate strategic clinical topics into structured, engaging learning modules for CTS and internal teams.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Professional Education, Medical Affairs, and Marketing to align content with clinical accuracy, company strategy, and product updates.
* Support onboarding and ongoing training of CTS, providing mentorship and clinical guidance to new hires as needed.
* Ensure the Clinical Training Program remains current with product enhancements, procedural updates, and compliance requirements.
* Maintain and administer LMS content, including uploading modules, assigning quizzes, and keeping the knowledge base accurate and current.
* Evaluate and recommend new learning modalities (digital, interactive, or workshop-based) to improve learner engagement and retention.
* Collect and integrate field feedback to continuously refine and improve educational materials and delivery methods.
* Support CTS certification and recertification processes, ensuring new educational content is integrated into training programs.
* Participate in clinical education events, workshops, and conferences as required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
* Significant clinical experience including cataract surgery planning, refractions, biometry, and associated device operations.
