What You Need:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Proficiency operating powered industrial trucks (PITs), with 2+ years of experience (preferred)
OSHA or employee certification for PIT operation (preferred)
Safe, verifiable operating history (appreciated)
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs independently and heavier weights with assistance
What You'll Do:
Safely operate PITs such as counterbalance forklifts and order pickers to transport and organize merchandise
Unload incoming stock, pick orders, and load outbound trucks to meet store needs
Perform daily PIT inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations
Operate RF scanners as directed by supervisors
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by sweeping, dusting, and mopping as needed
Adhere to all company safety rules and participate in required training programs
Additional Requirements:
Frequent bending, stooping, climbing, and pushing/pulling
Constant sitting and fine hand/wrist manipulation (steering and controls)
Occasional walking and standing
Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures, including indoor and outdoor environments

Available Schedules:
Full-time: 1st Shift (6am-2:30pm, M-F)
Full-time: 2nd Shift (2:30pm-12:00am, M-Th and 2:30pm-6:30pm,F)
Part-time: Available upon request
Full-time schedule includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch period and a 15-minute paid break.
Overtime, when required, can be worked before or after the scheduled shift, or as needed.
Job Summary: The Distribution Associate is responsible for getting orders ready to ship to Coastal Pet's customers.
A general description of each activity within assigned areas:
Pick Accurately select products by matching barcodes and product descriptions using a voice-directed system or handheld RF unit within the warehouse. Process customer's orders by picking the specified product and quantity from the designated pick location. Lift and carry cases/totes from pick locations and place them onto pallets or the conveyor system.
Putaway Replenish pick locations with products from Receiving, Manufacturing, Returns, and Bulk. Pull product from bulk/reserve locations to replenish pick locations.
Labels Attach hang tags and stickers to products in order to get ready to pack.
Pack Customer orders are packed in appropriate cartons. The packing process captures and records detailed information about each item included in the shipment and shipping of the carton.
Assist other departments and associates as necessary to support a cross-functional team.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Qualifications:
Requires overall knowledge of equipment, systems, procedures and processes involved in the area of job responsibility to maintain maximum efficiency in the area.
Ability to read and interpret all necessary paperwork to accomplish maximum efficiencies and have basic math skills.
Able to wear a headset and hear voice command prompts from our order-fulfilling system.
Good verbal skills, able to interact well with subordinates, peers, and superiors in a combined effort to maximize daily goals.
Must be able to walk and/or stand up to ten (10) hours a day and lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
This is a non-exempt position. General requirements of this position include, but are not limited to, regular attendance and the willingness and ability to work more than the regularly scheduled 40 hour work week when requested by management.
Academic Competencies:
Must have basic math skills and ability to read and interpret all necessary paperwork to accomplish maximum efficiency.
Workplace Competencies:
Good verbal skills and ability to interact well with peers and superiors in a combined effort to maximize daily goals. Knowledge of equipment, systems, procedures and processes involved in the area of job responsibility to maintain maximum efficiency in the area. Purpose -
The Utility Technician provides flexible, cross-functional support across maintenance, equipment production (fabrication/assembly), and chemical production operations. This role performs routine preventive maintenance, assembles equipment, supports chemical batch preparation and packaging, and executes housekeeping and materials handling to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient plant operations. The Utility Technician is a key contributor to uptime, quality, and EHS performance.
Key Accountabilities:
KRA 1: Maintenance Support (40-50%)
Assist in performing routine preventive maintenance (PM) tasks: lubrication, filter changes, belt/tension adjustments, minor repairs, and basic inspections on pumps, mixers, compressors, conveyors, and utility systems.
Assist maintenance mechanics with equipment rebuilds, component swaps, and troubleshooting under supervision.
Assist in facility maintenance.
Execute 5S and maintenance staging: kitting parts/tools, cleaning work areas, and returning tools to shadow boards.
Document PM completion and findings in CMMS; escalate abnormalities (leaks, overheating, vibration, unusual noises).
Support lockout/tagout (LOTO) preparation, line breaks, and safe isolation for maintenance activities.
KRA2: Equipment Production Support (20-30%)
· Assist with fabrication, light assembly, and staging of production equipment, fixtures, and subassemblies per drawings/SOPs.
· Perform basic machining/bench work (drilling, tapping, cutting), deburring, and finishing as trained.
· Help with equipment installations, anchor setting, alignment, and commissioning test runs.
· Manage shop consumables (cutting fluids, abrasives) and maintain tool condition (inspections, simple repairs).
KRA3: Chemical Production Support (20-30%)
· Stage raw materials (solids and liquids) per batch tickets; verify lot numbers, quantities, and status labels.
· Assist with batch charging, mixing, sampling, filtration, and transfers under operator supervision; follow SOPs and process envelopes.
· Operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, drum lifter) to move drums, totes, and pallets safely.
· Support packaging (drum/tote filling), labeling, and palletizing; verify weights, seals, and documentation.
· Maintain area cleanliness: spill control, floor cleaning, waste segregation, and container management.
Key Authorities:
· All employees have stop work authority for safety and quality concerns.

As a Retail Inventory Specialist, you would be a part of our CROSSMARK Field Intelligence Team. The primary function of this team is to travel locally to grocery, mass merchant, and drug stores collecting observational data about product placement and inventory information.
