Coman joins Science 37 from ERT, a global data and technology company that helps minimize risk in clinical trials, where he led its data and analytics business after serving as the company's chief strategy officer. Prior to ERT, Coman founded the Digital Patient business at Quintiles (now IQVIA) while also serving as the company's chief marketing officer. During his more than 25 years of experience Coman helped pioneer some of the industry's first decentralized trials while driving significant growth and enterprise value.

Mike Zaranek is the chief financial officer for Science 37, where he is responsible for all accounting and corporate finance functions as well as strategic pricing. He serves on the senior executive team.

Mike joins Science 37 from IQVIA's Contract Sales & Medical Solutions, where he served as vice president of finance for the global business unit, which had 2019 revenues of more than $800 million and operated in 30+ countries. In this role, Mike set the financial strategy, drove growth, and developed financial structures to enhance customer value. He was also responsible for financial planning and analysis, segment reporting, and led financial due diligence on prospective acquisition targets. Previously, Mike spent almost two decades in corporate development roles, where he drove inorganic growth as well as supported capital market transactions to fund growth, deliver shareholder returns, and optimize capital structure. In the aggregate, Mike has experience in excess of $20 billion in inorganic and capital market transactions.

Christopher Ceppi is an executive and technologist with more than 20 years of experience building and leading teams dedicated to innovation. He is a recognized thought leader in how best to apply technology to advance the conduct of clinical research in ways that benefit both patients and scientists. As chief product officer at Science 37, Christopher leads the technology organization at Science 37 and drives the design and development of the groundbreaking Science 37 platform. He oversees the teams responsible for software engineering, product management, and data science.

Jonathan Cotliar is the chief medical officer for Science 37. He previously served as vice president of medical affairs, where he contributed as an investigator on a number of virtual clinical trials in addition to his work in support of business development and regulatory strategy.

Jonathan is board-certified in both internal medicine and dermatology. He serves as director of inpatient dermatology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, with previous full-time faculty appointments at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, and City of Hope National Medical Center, where he was chief of the Division of Dermatology. Jonathan specializes in complex medical dermatology with a focus on oncodermatology, including graft-versus-host disease, adverse drug reactions, and the management of cutaneous toxicities related to chemotherapy and targeted anticancer therapies.

Jonathan received his B.A. from Trinity College, MD from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, and completed his training in dermatology and internal medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. While at UCLA, he completed an NIH-sponsored K30 Fellowship in translational investigation.

Christine joined Insmed in 2013 as General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, bringing over 20 years of leadership in the global biopharmaceutical industry. Prior to Insmed, Christine served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Aegerion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where she oversaw all legal aspects of the company’s successful IPO and secondary public offering and served as a member of the Executive Management Committee. Prior to Aegerion, Christine served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Dendrite International, Inc., a publicly traded company that provided sales effectiveness, promotional and compliance solutions to the pharmaceutical industry. As a member of the company’s management team, she led many critical initiatives including the sale of the company to Cegedim S.A. in 2007. Christine joined Dendrite from the law firm of Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer where she specialized in health care transactions and related regulatory matters. She previously served as law clerk to the Honorable Reginald Stanton, Assignment Judge for the Superior Court of New Jersey. Christine received her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
