BAE Systems is looking for a Senior Principal Systems Engineer to lead and coordinate all engineering activities associated with the APKWS - International Segment of the Aviation Weapons Portfolio of programs. This position will require the candidate to be well versed in Semi Active Laser technology, as well as display excellent communications skills. The candidate will support the APKWS - International Program Manager through coordination and overall communications with the baseline APKWS Program, perform technical planning, develop the appropriate Technical Assistance Agreements that will be delivered through our Export Control leadership, as well as preparation for the appropriate APKWS International Test activities. The candidate will also support the development of verifiable requirements and compliance matrix files for the Foreign Military Sales segment of APKWS, and will generate overall system test strategies, along with associated documentation to include system verification plans and procedures. The successful candidate will ensure that appropriate facilities and test equipment needed for system level testing are planned and made available at the appropriate scheduled time.
