JOB DUTIES:
Perform calibrations on Installed instrumentation includes, but is not limited to, gauges, switches, thermometers, transducers, meters, resistance temperature device (RTD), signal conditioners, and all system instrumentation associated with machinery control and any other complex systems installed on US Navy ships and submarines. These services will be required on all naval vessels including: LHA, LCS, LHD, LSD, CG, DDG, LCC, LCACs and CVNs.
Assist with initial SISCAL visits for new construction ships providing both Installed Instrumentation Configuration review (IICR) and initial Calibration Requirements List (CRL) and the initial onboard system calibrations.
Qualifications - External
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Prior Navy Gas Turbine Electrical (GSE) or Gas Turbine Mechanical (GSM) experience.
CERTIFICATION:

The Navy Business Group currently has a career opportunity for a qualified former Staff Communications Officer (NOBC 9590), Information Professional, or Unrestricted Line Officer with N39/J39 experience to instruct the Network-Centric Warfare (NCW) Warfare Commanders Course. The qualified candidate will provide direct assistance to Tactical Training Group, Atlantic (TTGL) as a Training Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the development, review, implementation, instruction, and assessment of the NCW training program. The candidate must have a broad technical background, knowledge, skills, and experience in Network-Centric Warfare - Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, and Intelligence (NCW-C5I) doctrine, principles, and processes within a U.S. Navy carrier strike group (CSG), expeditionary strike group (ESG) or amphibious ready group (ARG).
The ideal candidate for this position is a former mid- to senior-grade U.S. Naval Officer with staff experience from at least one tour of duty implementing or instructing NCW-C5I principles, doctrine, and tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP) as part of operations or training with a naval CSG, ESG, ARG, Fleet staff, or training command staff. Develop or provide inputs for the development of NCW-C5I course completion reports following the delivery of training.

Assess NCW-C5I courseware, delivery methods and new versions of applications to determine impact, functionality and best methodologies to develop and deliver training on new application's functionality. Provide input to TTGL schedules officer with regard to annual scheduling of NCW-C5I academic courses using the most cost effective and efficient plan for in-house instruction and MTTs. Working knowledge of SD-WAN, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and Virtual Private Network devices
Understanding of TCP/IP in regard to routing and subnetting
Capable of supporting TACACS+ on Cisco ISE and ISE Cube
Required Certifications:
IAT Level II required (Sec +), CCNA/CCNP. Six-month waiver authorized to obtain
Working Environment\:
Must be able to work shifts to cover a 24x7 operational environment
