This position serves as Maritime Specialist and Technician responsible for day-to-day support of multiple maritime vessels under control by ATI7 that perform continuous research and development test activities. Responsibilities: * Perform navigation and operation of vessels, including 200+ ton, as required to support ATI7 activities. * Plan and coordinate upgrades for ATI7 vessels to meet incoming R&D requirements. * Track program activities and reporting status to synchronize and enhance the overall effectiveness of the ATl7 maritime assets. * Be able to provide technical advice to government project managers and engineers with regard to boat operations and mission feasibility as well as plan and coordinate maritime tests and maintenance. * Prepare for activities such as readiness reviews; utilization and safety training; and interagency coordination * Provide history of operating, maintaining and repairing marine equipment such as winches, hydraulics, A-frames, davits, pneumatics, and shipboard systems at sea. * Be capable of providing deck hand and swimmer services for deploying and retrieving equipment in the water.
