Responsibilities: This position is a non-tenure track, 12-month appointment on the Columbus, GA campus. Additional duties will be required/assigned during the summer. The departmental assignment will be based on degree type and experience. Teaching faculty will play a key role in the continued development and implementation of an integrated, cross-disciplinary curriculum that includes small and large group case-based and team-based learning, and other active teaching-learning methods. Qualifications: Candidates must hold a MD or DO degree with successful completion of an accredited residency program from an accredited college/university in an appropriate discipline. Candidates with prior teaching experience and/or familiarity with case-based and active learning methods in both small- and large-group settings are highly desired.
