Power Systems Postdoctoral Researcher - (23609) Description The Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is seeking a well-qualified Postdoctoral Research Associate in Power Systems Engineering or comparable discipline for the Power and Energy Systems Department. To tackle this problem, we have to develop parameterizations to represent these phenomena within global models. PROCEED leverages the University of Wyoming allocation on the NCAR-Wyoming supercomputer Derecho (************************************* to probe uncertainty from parameterized processes in the DOE Energy Exascale ESM (E3SM). Within this collaboration, University of Wyoming is focusing on developing novel perturbed process ensembles (PPEs) in E3SM while University of Hawaii at Manoa uses large eddy simulations to better understand how ARM observations can be used to confront, constrain, and understand global environmental predictability in E3SM.
