Required Qualifications -An earned terminal degree in an appropriate field and relevant experience. -Experience authoring professional presentations or peer reviewed publications. -Experience preparing technical reports and manuscripts. -Proactive problem solving skills, ability to work independently, and ability to take appropriate autonomous initiative to carry out study related functions. -Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. -Outstanding ethics and confidentiality in dealing with scientific data and results. -Aptitude for academic rigor, quantitative method, and scientific writing. -Demonstrated experience keeping research notes, documenting findings, and filing records. -Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products. -Demonstrable experience developing, managing, or maintaining research databases using Access. -Experience using Microsoft SharePoint for collaboration. -Must be willing to work evenings and weekends on occasion to meet the needs of the project, including scheduling participant visits and contacts, as well as meeting project deadlines. Preferred Qualifications -A doctoral degree in psychology, medicine, public health or a related field. -Experience working with American Indian and/or Alaska Native Communities. -Experience conducting substance abuse research. -Excellent scientific writing and oral expression skills. -Experience analyzing scientific data using Stata, R or SPSS . -Experience managing staff at field research offices. -Experience managing research studies. -Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office and experience with SharePoint. -Experience with online surveys or databases. -Experience preparing reports to National Institutes of Health ( NIH ) and Institutional Review Boards (IRBs).
