Position Summary

Month-end close and Financial Analysis
· Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation during the corporate monthly financial close.
· Assist the Plant Controller with performing balance sheet reconciliations during the corporate monthly financial close.
· Assist the Plant Controller with completing forecasts and the annual budget.
· Support analyses to improve forecast accuracy and operational decision making.
Accounts Payable and Purchase Orders
· Receive and reconcile invoices to purchase orders, purchase requisitions, and receiving reports for goods and services (three-way matching)
· Obtain appropriate approval for payment of invoices received that do not have a purchase requisition or purchase order number.
· Ensure that appropriate sales tax is either included on the vendor invoice or tracked on a daily log to assist Plant Controller with the monthly accrual and payment.
· Ensure transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
· Responsible for the accurate coding and timely processing of invoices. Investigate and resolve all discrepancies associated with the processing of invoices.
· Ensure all documentation supporting invoices are combined and filed and maintain a monthly recurring payment log and ensure all vendors are paid within terms.
· Ensure all vendor invoices are scanned and saved with appropriate naming convention for posting by the Regional AP Team Lead.
· Review the coding of purchase orders and confirm the appropriate accounting treatment of invoices including prepaid expenses and fixed assets.
Inventory
· Take weekly and monthly inventories, including raw material, spare parts, and consumable inventories.
· Ensure the accurate accounting of finished goods inventory shipped from the operating plant location to the port location.
· Monitor the plant's load out function to ensure that all loads leaving are recorded in the software system daily.
· Effective communication with the port's Office Manager to ensure that all loads leaving the plant were subsequently received by the port.
· Timely resolution of any daily reconciling items or potential inventory discrepancies.
Required Qualifications
· At least 2-4 years relevant accounting experience
· Bachelor's Degree in accounting, Finance, or related quantitative field
· Experience processing a high volume of invoices and/or purchase orders
· Attention to detail and high level of accuracy; Ability to follow up on pending issues and meet tight deadlines
· Demonstrated ability to plan and organize work activities, manage time efficiently and follow policies and procedures.

o Move-in/move-out inspections
o Routine inspections required by Federal and/or State regulatory agencies

· Identifies water and gas meter cut-offs, unit fixture cut-offs, sewer clean-outs
· Performs scheduled maintenance on equipment based on the manufacturers operating manuals
· Periodically inspects all units, buildings and common areas, performs repairs and/or janitorial duties

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.
Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.

Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC) Instructor
Scooba, MS
To guide students around barriers for successful program completion Classroom and/or Clinical Instructor as indicated. This is a 9 month position. I. Demonstrates a thorough understanding and enthusiasm for the subject being taught; 2. Answers students' questions in a manner which promotes an understanding of the subject matter and encourages further learning;
3. Communicates to the students the goals, objectives, and expectations of the course and assigns grades on the basis of those expectations;
4. Assigns learning activities which promote understanding of the course content;
5. Speaks clearly and distinctly when lecturing or presenting classroom materials;
6. Demonstrates an interest in students by assisting in the areas of guidance, student activities, and registration;
7. Keeps accurate records of attendance and grades, reports these accurately and promptly, and submits all reports and other requested information promptly and accurately;
8. Provides to students at the beginning of each semester up-to-date course outlines including goals and objectives, requirements, nature of the course content and methods of evaluation. The course outlines should also be on file in the office of the Associate Dean of Instruction;
9. Keeps informed regarding available instructional materials;
10. Administers/supervises examinations and tests;
11. Maintains discipline in the classroom;
12. Attends faculty meetings and other required meetings as prescribed;
13. Meets all classes promptly and regularly and begins and ends class on time;
14. Instructs each class in the most effective way possible, following the approved course outline and using approved textbooks;
15. Requisitions supplies through the proper channels;
16. Encourages regular attendance of students in all classes and motivates students to maximum effort;
17. Reads professional publications and keeps abreast of better methods, aids, and ideas for teaching his/her discipline;
18. Assures an active interest in the welfare of the college and endeavors to further the achievement of the aims of the college;
19. Maintains an office and class schedule of reasonable hours, posts this schedule for students, and files a copy with the Associate Dean of Instruction;
20. Improves command of subject matter by enrolling in advanced programs of study and seminars as opportunity affords;
21. Utilizes the library, library materials, and collections;
22. Gives leadership for in-service training and contributes to study groups and committees;
23. Joins and participates in professional organizations in his subject area and promotes a professional attitude toward the college;
24. Participates in departmental meetings;
25. Serves as sponsor and advisor for student clubs and other student activities when appropriate;
26. Serves on appropriate faculty committees;
27. Supports policies and programs which are developed and ensures that these are carried out;
28. Participates in maintaining an effective and continuous recruiting program;
29. Completed and submits all reports required for beginning and continuing accreditation of the program as defined by the governing agency;
30. Fulfills other duties as assigned by President.
Qualifications and Required Documents
Minimum of certificate in HVAC or related field with 5 years of HVAC experience.
Preferred - Associate Degree in HVAC or related field with 5 years of HVAC experience.
Documentable experience over 5 years may be considered as expert in the field with Valid EPA 608 Universal Certification and other work related certifications.
Preference will be given to applicants who meet one or more of the following criteria:
* Evidence of success working with students, pre-college through higher education;
* Willingness to advise students, lead student groups in selected extracurricular activities; and Assist in building camaraderie and positive relations among colleagues; Willingness to establish positive relationships with related professional organizations.
