Thomas Marchand is a French entrepreneur based in Boston, graduated by ESSEC Business School (Paris). His first company in the private lesson industry was acquired in 2014 by the market leader. Thomas founded then BIOMODEX and served five years as the CEO & Chairman. This medical device company is developing 3d Printed patient-specific anatomical models designed to provide a pre-operative planning solution to physicians in the neurovascular and structural heart space. He raised $20M+ and built a 40 people team in Paris and Boston, including a manufacturing facility in Massachusetts. BIOMODEX counts Medtronic, Stryker, Boston Scientific, and J&J as customers. Thomas recently joined NIDO as the President and CEO, co-founded by Pedro Del Nido, Chairman of cardiovascular surgery at Boston Children Hospital and Professor at Harvard Medical School. NIDO is developing SEPIA, an innovative solution designed to improve epicardial ablation efficiency and, ultimately, cure Ventricular Tachycardia. NIDO is targeting a clearance by the FDA in 2022 and starting commercialization the same year. Thomas has been granted French American Entrepreneur of the year 2016 and is a regular guest at the entrepreneurial finance program at Babson College.

Michael Albanese is the CEO of Tradewind Markets. With over 20 years in the industry, Michael previously held multiple leadership positions at J.P. Morgan, including Global Head of Agency Collateral Management, Global Head of Securities Clearance, Head of Japan Trustee business, and was a board member of J.P. Morgan Trust Bank Japan, Ltd. While at J.P Morgan, Michael focused on enabling banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, corporations, and insurers to effectively manage collateral cross repurchase agreements, securities loans, and derivatives trades. Michael is experienced in market infrastructure across securities markets, online brokerage, and leadership of complex businesses. Michael earned his Master’s of Business Administration from NY University, and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Language and Linguistics from Georgetown University.

Paraag Sarva is the CEO and Co-founder of Rhino, a startup devoted to building products and services that give renters a more affordable way to live in the homes they want. Rhino replaces cash security deposits with low-cost, affordable insurance. Previously, Paraag led a real estate company, managing and developing over $100 million in assets. He also served as City Hall Policy Advisor and aide in the administration of Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg in New York City. Paraag began his career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs after completing bachelors and masters degrees in economics at New York University.
