About you and this role
We are looking for a Construction Robot Operator to join our team, bringing robots and automation to the construction industry to create affordable, beautiful, high-quality housing for everyone.
This is an exciting and novel role where you'll be responsible for building brick walls with our construction robots. Given that this is a completely new role with novel technology, we naturally don't expect any prior experience. Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood's mission is to promote healthy sexuality and reproductive choice through exceptional services, honest education and fearless advocacy. We serve the greater Capital District and operate health centers in Albany, Troy and Hudson, NY.
Our Education Department is looking for a part-time Sexual Health Educator who is interested in facilitating sexual health education programs throughout the Capital Region. The Sexual Health Educator will be responsible for the ongoing facilitation of sexuality education programs and community outreach to a wide range of participants throughout the Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood service area. A key component will be the provision of evidence based sexuality education programs and the engagement of parents/caregivers in sexuality education activities as part of the NYS Department of Education community based initiative.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. BA or BS in health education, social work, human services, or relevant field.
2. At least two years of experience in the following: facilitation of sexual health programs, creation of educational program outlines and plans, and working with youth and adolescent population
3. Educational or training experience with a diverse range of participants including, but not limited to: school aged youth, special needs populations, adults, parents, and/or other professionals.
4. Familiarity with and experience providing evidence based sexual health interventions.
5. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with an emphasis on multi-tasking, data collection, and record keeping.
6. Excellent computer and technology-based skills especially as they relate to: data collection, database maintenance, and the use of emerging technologies for educational activities.
7. Recognition of the need to empower young people to make informed choices about their reproductive health.
8. Committed to positive youth development as well as department goals.
9. Commitment to the goals of Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood.
10. Ability to establish and maintain rapport with community professionals, agency staff, parents, as well as teenagers/young people

On-Call Campus Safety Officer

Part-time position available to NYS certified security guards or those able to obtain and maintain a NYS Security Guard license (or meet law enforcement requirements for an exemption) within 30 days of employment at Skidmore and possess a valid driver's license.
Position is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all members of the campus community in a customer service centric manner.
Campus Safety Officers conduct safety training, engage in community outreach, respond to emergencies, render first-aid, investigate incidents, and document violations of law or policy. Involves vehicle and foot patrol, periodic dispatching and desk duties. Coverage is needed for all shifts including midnight shifts, evening and weekends.
Responsibilities include campus security patrol, report writing and enforcing college's rules and regulations, conducting investigations and interacting with a diverse population. There will be a background check. Prior applicants may reapply.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma. Familiarity with computer applications is essential. At least one year of related experience is preferred but not required. A valid driver's license and a valid New York State Security Guard license at time of hire or within 30 days are required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate should possess excellent communication and writing skills.
