DOCK COORDINATOR 2nd Shift JOB SUMMARY: Dock Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of dock activities, including loading and unloading shipments, coordinating logistics, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure timely entry of data relative to inbound receiving and outbound shipping. Coordinate all outbound shipping (finished goods, PPO orders, returnables, etc.). Monitoring finished goods inventory levels and perform shipping configuration decision making. Manage returnable container inventories and shipments. Supervision of inbound/outbound dock Hilo drivers. Manage Hilo/tugger lease agreements, preventative maintenance, and repairs. Manage Delivery location FIFO. Manage returns (supplier scrap/rework). Dock repair coordination. Additional dunnage returns/removal (i.e. pallet removal). Manage expedites inbound/outbound. Ability to learn and adapt to new technology. Willing to do whatever it takes to support the team and thus the customer. Personal skills, teamwork and a positive attitude in times of stressful situations are necessary. Detail oriented and proactive in problem identification and resolution. Sense of urgency relative to customer continuity (i.e. Inbound/outbound material flow). All other duties as assigned. Reduces the need to purchase new/replacement electric motors by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electric motors, determining the interchangeability of parts on non-repairable motors, salvaging those parts as a replacement parts inventory, and replacing starter switches, electrical leads, fuses, insulators, gears, bushings and bearings, and other inoperative components. Provides technical assistance in the purchase of new or replacement electrical and electro-mechanical equipment or systems by reviewing and preparing equipment specifications, and advising the Maintenance Manager on equipment capability and compatibility, installation requirements and costs, and potential operations and maintenance expenses. Follows all Company safety rules and regulations including LOTO and wears all required PPE. Troubleshoots PLC programs and robotics. Reads and understands maintenance work orders. Accurately performs daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly preventative maintenance on plant equipment and machinery as required per established PM programs and completes required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner. Mentors and/or trains existing and/or new maintenance employees. Maintains good housekeeping and follows established safety protocols. Able to work in a team environment to include relieving other employees in instances of breaks, absenteeism, vacation, or other production requirements. Performs any other duties as assigned or directed by manager. Maintains awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; reports all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel. Additional Expectations Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy. Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands. Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System. Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service. What You'll Bring High School Diploma or GED required. Certification or equivalent experience in electrical field. 4 years' prior maintenance experience required. Ability to lift to 50 lbs. unassisted. Ability to stand and/or walk, bend, stoop, or crouch for at least an 8-hour shift. Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel machinery, equipment, or parts and work near moving mechanical parts. Knowledge of current OSHA, NEC, and ANSI standards Must be able to interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and electrical schematics. Must be able to use electrical test equipment and small hand and power tools. Must be computer literate, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Products. Ability to accurately use, read, and understand various precision instruments including, but not limited to: meters, meggers, and oscilloscopes. Working knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives, PLCs, and HMIs. Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment with accuracy and integrity.
