John Baumann is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Midmark Corporation. ​ Prior to holding this position, he joined the Midmark Board of Directors in 2009 and was named Chairman in 2013. He leads the company with a strong focus on Midmark’s vision, values and strategies, which support innovation and growth initiatives to increase the efficiency of healthcare. A highly skilled and award-winning senior executive with more than 35 years of experience, Baumann, a Cincinnati native, began his career in the Cincinnati office of Arthur Andersen in 1979. He left Arthur Andersen to serve as the COO/CFO of Duro Bag Manufacturing, the largest manufacturer of carrier shopping bags for major specialty retail and department stores. He joined Fisher Investment Group in 1994 serving as Vice President, Corporate Development. In 1997, Baumann became President and Chief Executive Officer, as well as a shareholder, of Ampac, a Cincinnati-based global leader in creative packaging solutions serving the retail, food, pharmaceutical and security markets. During his tenure, Ampac increased its size twenty-fold, completed twelve acquisitions and expanded into Europe and Asia, where it now operates several global manufacturing centers. Baumann has won numerous awards for leadership and entrepreneurship, including the 2014 Entrepreneur Vision Award from the Entrepreneur Organization of Cincinnati and Entrepreneur of the Year from Ernst & Young in 2005. Furthermore, Baumann brings leadership experience from several corporate boards which currently include Basco, Kost USA, Ocean Accelerator, Inc. and, formerly, Bethesda, Inc. Baumann remains actively involved with organizations throughout the community, including Higher Branches, a charity he and his wife Emily founded to help build community in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood of Cincinnati. Baumann formerly contributed on the boards of the Cincinnati Museum Center and the Cincinnati Parks Foundation, the latter of which he was a founder. Baumann received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Xavier University.

Founded in 1956, Shaklee is a leading natural nutrition company in the U.S., with more than 2 million members and distributors principally in North America and Asia. In 2000, Shaklee was the first company in the world to become Climate Neutral Certified to fully offset its carbon emissions.Mr. Barnett began his career at the investment banking firm Lazard Freres & Co. He then organized an investment group to acquire control of Arcade, Inc., which he transformed into the largest sampling company in the world, expanding from a solely U.S. operation into a global business. He was also the founder and Chairman and CEO of Beauty.com, which was one of the first internet retailers in the cosmetics industry. Mr. Barnett has also been elected as the Chairman of The World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA), a global organization representing more than 60 national direct selling associations with $180 billion in revenue and more than 100 million representatives.Mr. Barnett received his undergraduate degree from Yale College (Summa Cum Laude), his law degree from Yale Law School (Senior Editor, Yale Law Journal), and his MBA from Harvard Business School. Mr. Barnett has been selected as a Global Leader for Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum (Davos) and has also been selected as a Young Leader Fellow of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations. Additionally, Mr. Barnett serves as a member of the Harvard and Yale Schools of Public Health Leadership Councils, the University Council of Yale University, the Yale University President's Council on International Activities, the Board of Directors of the Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity, and the Advisory Board of 2004 Nobel Peace Laureate Wangari Maathai's The Green Belt Movement.

While growing up on a farm in Iowa, Dave VanderGriend learned early on how farming affects both rural communities and the global economy. Dave began working in the ethanol industry in the 1970s and later became vice president of operations for High Plains Corporation, an ethanol production company. In 1995, he used this knowledge to create ICM with the goal of advancing renewable energy using efficient, streamlined methods that sustain agriculture and reduce waste. The company began as a 20-employee fabrication shop. ICM has since become the ethanol industry’s leading provider of process technology, which has been integrated into more than 100 plants worldwide. Dave is passionate about supporting projects that involve people, food, energy and environmental restoration in developing countries.
