Sets up and operates automated pad printing equipment.
Essential Job Functions
• Reads and follows specific instructions given on shop packets and art forms.
• Coordinates needed materials to produce order.
• Mixes ink to specified PMS color match.
• Burns art images onto product.
• Sets up machine with ink and pads.
• Responsible for the day to day maintenance of machines.
• Responsible for measuring and meeting quality requirements.
• Trouble shoots and corrects throughput problems.
• Remove excess ink from screen, wipe screen.
• Clean ink buckets and return to work area.
• Follows all safety requirements.
• Maintain a high level of performance to meet standard production rates.
• Wear proper PPE at all times.
• Use FMS system to help schedule orders.
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required
Education
• High school graduate or its equivalent.
Knowledge
• 3 to 6 months on-the-job training.
Skills
• Above average hand and eye coordination.
• Requires high attention to detail.
• Some mechanical skills.
• Intermediate computer skills.
Abilities
• High degree of comprehension, trouble shooting and problem resolution.
