CORE JOB DUTIES Manufacturing: * Prepare and maintain extraction areas in accordance with Cresco Labs SOPs and state compliance regulations. * Process biomass and perform solvent-based and solventless extractions. * Conduct lab bench work, including product filtration and formulation. * Operate and monitor high-RPM machinery such as centrifuges and Cup 15 systems. * Safely handle solvents (ethanol, butane) and materials under extreme hot and cold conditions. * Perform quality control checks to ensure consistency, safety, and efficacy of finished products. * Maintain accurate documentation, batch records, and compliance logs. * Assist other departments with production tasks as needed. * Work in temperature-controlled, loud environments while adhering to all safety protocols. * Flexibility to work extended hours when production requires. Maintain organization, cleanliness and efficiency of production area. Main duties will entail carrying out day-to-day plant care including watering, pruning, harvesting and trimming. Must monitor and maintain plant production and quality control measures in accordance with the commonwealth and standards set by Cresco Labs. Job Description Eurofins Environment Testing is searching for a Technician in our Sample Custody Department in Altamonte Springs, FL. Job duties for the Technician include: * Receiving and unloading incoming samples or consignments * Verifying that documents are accurate, complete, and correct and seeks resolution for those that are not. * Logging samples into Lab Management System daily to assign a lot number for tracking purposes. * Labeling samples so they may be identified by the lot number, and assigning and delivering samples to appropriate departments for analysis daily. * Disposing of spent samples, waste and other potentially hazardous materials in accordance with established procedures. * Monitoring freezer and cooler temperatures daily to confirm that the readings are within SOP guidelines. * Cleaning and organizing the department daily to promote a clean, safe work environment and smoother flow of daily operations. * Maintaining and promoting safety and conducting all operations in a safe and environmentally compliant manner. * Stocking and suppling inventory daily and assisting with inventory of supplies to maintain proper quantity of materials to perform tasks appropriately. * Performing splits and composites as needed upon request. * Prepare bottle kits. * Shipping empty coolers back to clients and other Eurofins labs. * Conducting all client interaction in an appropriate and professional manner. * Other job duties as determined by local management. Qualifications Basic Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly Ability and/or Skills (BMQ): * Demonstrates strong organizational skills. * Pays close attention to detail. * Possesses physical strength necessary to lift and move heavy boxes received by the lab. * Exhibits ability to use LIMS software competently. * Possesses basic math skills. * Works well with a team. * Communicates clearly and effectively. * Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills. * Handles issues calmly and politely. * Manages time efficiently. * Demonstrates solid problem-solving skills. * Is capable of operating forklifts and other equipment to move heavy shipments. * Demonstrates awareness of safety procedures Additional Information Requirements: * Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship * Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English Position is full-time Monday - Friday 1st shift. Our sensory science program resides in our USA headquarters in Minneapolis, MN. **Job Description** In addition to conducting consumer research, SAM The National Food Lab conducts evaluations of products using trained taste testers. Instead of indicating their likes and dislikes for products, these trained tasters describe the specific flavors and textures of products and how they are similar or different from one another. This information is used by major food manufacturers in developing new and improved products. The trained tasters who currently participate in our program comment that learning how to become a trained tester is fun and have given them a chance to develop new friendships with their fellow tasters. If you are selected to participate in the trained sensory program, you will be trained to evaluate a wide variety of products. During training, SAM The NFL panel leaders will teach you how to describe different flavor and texture characteristics of food products and rate them in terms of intensity. Training will generally take place on three mornings a week between the hours of 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. Training will be start in June 2025 and will run for ~3 months. Since a great deal of time and effort will go into your training, we need a long-term commitment from you once you have completed the trainings. After training is completed, you will participate in trained panels. Panels are typically two hours in duration and are conducted on weekdays between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. Depending on the number of projects we are working on, there will be some weeks with no taste tests and other weeks with up to 20 hours of taste tests. Since the frequency of the taste panels is variable, you should not consider this program if you are looking for a regular full-time job, as this position is viewed as an on-call part-time job.
