MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE * Technical Diploma with First Assistant credential * Minimum 5 years related work experience, 2 years of experience should fall either in the operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology, or a combination of both surgical/operating role, within the last 5 years * The aforementioned may be waived if the candidate has two years post- secondary teaching experience in the appropriate occupational field within the last 5 years. * Current certification in surgical technology (CST) or an approved ARC-ST faculty * Employment conditional upon completion of a Caregiver Background Check with the results acceptable to the clinical agencies accessed in the curriculum.
