Lead project kick-off meetings
Work closely with internal account teams to gather initial requirements for technical projects
Assist internal Business Analysts in gathering details required for technical requirements
Create and manage project plans
Ensure all stakeholders are aware if dependencies are not met or timing is at risk
Assist with testing and QA as required
Manage communications with vendors and partners
Attend client and account calls/meetings as required
Interface with creative team to develop product mockups
Document and distribute meeting minutes for all calls/meetings

POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering technology solutions aligning Compliance and Risk, pertaining to Financial Crimes. They will serve as a project manager under the guidance of the Program Director of Financial Crimes Intelligence Unit, and will be responsible for managing key IT resources, tasks, and activities including possibly: employees, contractors, and suppliers. Serves as project manager for functional delivery of solutions required by the business partner for the Anti-Money Laundering Investigations and Operations within Compliance.
• Provides direction and oversight to project team to design, develop, deploy and sustain solutions that meet applicable business requirements.
• Responsible for a set of projects and or releases.
• Responsible for deliverables, cost, schedule, quality and status reporting.
• Liaises with horizontal partners including PMO, Enterprise Quality Assurance, Risk, Information Security, and Finance
• Performs financial reconciliation monthly for contract and vendor spend against budget.
• Allocates and directs resources to accomplish tasks, and maintains control of schedule(s) and deliverable quality.
• Responsible for resolving issues and mitigating risks, escalating issues/risks when appropriate.
• Manages teams, which may include Ally employee and/or vendor team members, informs the team of its progress.
• Acts as IT team's interface to business stakeholders
Qualifications
Qualifications:
•Ideal candidates will have a strong interest in learning the Auto Finance business, specifically in the area of the Management of the Commercial Portfolio Business. Our team functions as part of the business, and it is expected that the Project Manager will focus on delivery of solutions to business problems rather than a singular focus on PM methodology and coordination.
• Financial Crimes, Compliance, Fraud, Anti-Money Laundering experience preferred
• Iterative and/or agile development methodology preferred
• Ability to manage geographically-disparate teams of technical IT professionals
• Ability to manage 3rd party development
• Customer Focus - proven track record of customer satisfaction and delivery success and ability to establish and maintain appropriate relationships with business and IT stakeholders
