Scrum master job in Woonsocket, RI
Insight Global is seeking a Senior ScrumMaster to support a large health insurance client of ours. This ScrumMaster will support agile delivery within the Medicaid Provider domain, focusing on provider directories and database modernization. This role will enable one initial Scrum team (with potential to expand to a 2nd) and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions in a complex, compliance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Agile Leadership:
o Serve as ScrumMaster for two Scrum teams, with potential to support additional teams or another ScrumMaster.
o Coach teams on Agile principles and ensure adherence to Scrum practices.
- Facilitation & Coordination:
o Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other ceremonies.
o Manage cross-team dependencies, including coordination with the Digital team for provider search modernization.
o Support deployments, including after-hours releases (e.g., post-5 PM for Arizona market).
- Domain Expertise:
o Work within the Medicaid Provider domain, focusing on provider directories and provider database initiatives.
o Understand state-specific compliance requirements across 17 Medicaid markets.
- Team Management:
o Collaborate with a mixed team of FTEs, contractors, and offshore resources.
o Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
o Partner with product owners, technical leads, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables.
o Communicate progress, risks, and impediments effectively.
