Job Description Position: Scrum Master Location: Tampa FL Duration: 6+ months Need GC and USC Seeking an experienced Scrum Master for our applications development teams. These Agile teams are currently utilizing Scrum& XP practices to deliver incremental releases on a very regular basis. We are seeking a leader who will continue to challenge and develop these teams within the Agile framework, utilizing the full tool belt of personal and technical skills as outlined below to find ways to raise the business value we provide to even higher levels. Licenses/Certifications Certified Scrum Master RESPONSIBILITIES: Facilitate the Scrum process (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews & retrospectives) Identify and remove impediments to the ability of the team to deliver the product/Product goals and deliverables Act as an advocate for the Product & the product team and escalate their issues Interface with project teams (particularly project managers, product managers & BA's) to make sure that stories and other project deliverables to the Product team are of sufficient quality and provided in a timely manner Coordinate with the Product Development lead, project managers, and product owners to do sprint and release planning for the Product Work with architecture and engineering teams in distributed locations to drive planning, issue resolution, and development on Product & project specific technical topics Coordinate with other interface teams to identify risks and to clear roadblocks Coordinate with technical operations to address production issues for the Product Coordinate with release management & QA to ensure smooth release processes are maintained Manage defect backlog including working with product management to prioritize and defer defects Provide weekly reporting on Product progress against release goals and Product team activity Partner with Development lead to do capacity planning & resource allocation in Clarity and other time tracking tools Partner with the QA lead to ensure the test team's questions for development (and other teams) are answered Partner with the Development and QA leads to provide leadership and mentorship to the team Partner with the Development and QA leads to uphold the integrity of the Product and promote best practices for Product maintenance and development Maintain a Product backlog (non-project technical debt, refactoring tasks needed etc) and track work against those tasks Partner with the Product SMEs to facilitate resolution of risk/compliance issues Facilitate communication within the team and with the key stakeholders Oversee the day-to-day progress of Agile, development project(s) and release initiatives with regard to time, budget, scope and quality (project manager specific, above and beyond Product duties and/or for a hybrid Scrum/Project Manager role) QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Learning Experience Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications or related field Work Experience Minimum 3 years in a Scrum Master or comparable Agile leadership position Minimum 4 -6 years participation in a software development lifecycle Minimum 5-7 years active participation in technical projects Skills/Knowledge Familiarity with Agile development tools - TFS Demonstrated understanding of service-oriented environments and better development practices Demonstrated understanding of fundamentals of iterative development Demonstrated understanding of other processes and methodologies with the ability to speak intelligently about leveraging other techniques to provide value to a team/enterprise Demonstrated understanding of basic fundamentals of software development processes and procedures Demonstrated understanding of the value of commitments to delivery made by a development team Demonstrated understanding of incremental delivery and the value of metrics Demonstrated understanding of backlog tracking, burn down metrics, velocity, and task definition Behavior Competencies Servant Leader - Must be able to garner respect from his/her team and be willing to get their hands dirty to get the job done Communicative and social - Must be able to communicate well with teams Facilitative - Must be able to lead and demonstrate value-add principles to a team Assertive - Must be able to ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, must be able to be a voice of reason and authority, make the tough calls Situationally aware - Must be the first to notice differences and issues as they arise and elevate them to management Enthusiastic - Must be high-energy Continual improvement - Must continually be growing ones craft learning new tools and techniques to manage oneself and a team Conflict resolution - Must be able to facilitate discussion and facilitate alternatives or different approaches Attitude of empowerment - Must be able to lead a team to self-organization Attitude of transparency - Must desire to bring disclosure and transparency to the business about development and grow business trust Politically savvy - Must be able to work/collaborate/communicate effectively with upper management, stakeholders and other external dependencies Additional Information If you are interested please share your resume to preethib@usmsystems(dot)com or can directly call me on ************

Manage monthly billing cycles and resolve discrepancies. Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers. Investigate and resolve billing or payment issues in coordination with finance and vendor teams. + **Performance Monitoring:** Develop and implement SLAs and KPIs tailored to vendor services. Track and report performance metrics, initiating corrective actions when necessary. Utilize vendor management systems and reporting tools to maintain transparency and accountability. Support team members in interpreting performance data and driving continuous improvement. + **Governance and Process Improvements:** Support operations and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving vendor efficiency, governance, and value delivery.
