Batrack joined our predecessor in 1980 and was named Chairman in January 2008. He has served as our Chief Executive Officer and a director since November 2005 and as our President since October 2008. Batrack has served in numerous capacities over the last 30 years, including project scientist, project manager, operations manager, senior vice president, and president of an operating unit. He has managed complex programs for many small and Fortune 500 clients, both in the United States and internationally. Batrack holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington.

Rich D'Amato is based in Parker, Colorado. He has worked as Exec VP/Head:Private Sector at Brown and Caldwell; Senior Vice President, Global Director of Business Development at Ch2m Hill; and Director, Industrial Skill Center & Global Business Group Developer at Ch2m Hill. Richard attended Clemson University between 1990 and 1992, University at Buffalo between 1988 and 1990, and Fuqua School of Business between 2002 and 2004.

Pat, a Professional Engineer (MA) who has been with GZA for 28 years, is GZA's President and CEO. He has led many of GZA’s largest and most complex geoenvironmental projects, including design/build and guaranteed fixed price remediation efforts. He most recently served as one of GZA’s four Operations Officers, who are responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the firm, and as a member of GZA’s Executive Team. Prior to that, he managed the company’s Metro Boston operations and held several other leadership positions, including two terms on the Board of Directors, member of all Board Committees, and chair of the Audit and Compensation Committees. He enjoys basketball, boating, volunteering, and all types of engineering challenges. He lives in Massachusetts with his wife Jill and their two children.

Louis is a seasoned executive with extensive experience managing the domestic and international operations of major engineering firms. As an engineering professional with nearly 30 years of experience, Louis is an accomplished business leader who excels at running businesses, capturing new markets, and growing market share and profitability across industry. His expertise extends across numerous engineering specialties, including water, transportation, environment, industrial and high tech, power and petroleum, and buildings and architectural services. Louis brings proven skills in change management, contract management, strategic planning, business development, and risk management.
