SCS Engineers is looking for a Systems Administrator who brings deep expertise in systems administration and advanced technical support, with a strong ability to resolve complex, escalated IT issues. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience required.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the following areas of focus: Project Engineer in a Design Firm, Construction Senior Field Engineer, Construction Project Manager, CM Procurement Agent, CM Cost Control/ Estimating Manager, Owner Representative or related field
Possesses expert understanding of MEP systems, equipment rooms, shafts, risers & POE rooms design practices
Experience in the following business sectors required: Commercial Office, Hospital, Higher Education, Residential Tower or Multi-use High-rise construction
Strong CM contract and subcontractor estimating review experience required
Knowledge of critical care MEP systems design, installation and maintenance practices preferred

As a Staff Engineer, you'll play a vital role by supporting engineering and design projects within our established solid waste team. You'll gain experience in landfills, landfill gas, recycling, and composting projects involving permitting, design, air quality compliance, construction, operations, and monitoring for both private and municipal clients. How you can make an impact
You will reduce greenhouse gas emissions and support civil and environmental project work including:
Landfill and landfill gas system permitting and design, including construction plans, specifications and construction documents.
Apply intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering and scientific principles and practices in solid waste assignment areas and related fields.
Manage projects and personnel to meet both client and SCS expectations.
Makes decisions independently on engineering or scientific problems and methods, plans and coordinate work, and represent us at meetings and conferences.
Field work in varied terrain and weather will be required, including surveys/data gathering, construction quality assurance, inspections, sample collection, drilling oversight, etc.
Office-based tasks include CAD drafting, mathematical calculations, report writing, creating site plans and facility diagrams, permit applications, etc.
Business development including proposal preparation, meeting with clients, and attending industry related conferences/trade shows.
Receive technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans or projects.
Complete quality control reviews on all work products (reports, design plans, design calculations, data, etc.) prior to submission.
Prepare calculations for reports and in support of design documents as requested.
Review laboratory data and prepare compliance monitoring reports.
Travel (day trips or overnight, 20% of travel expected)
Ensure adherence to client and company policies in all activities including health and safety, security, and ethics.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering, or related major required.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant civil or environmental experience required. Consulting experience, business specific to the solid waste industry, including landfill gas management, air compliance, and landfill design and permitting, etc. preferred.
Competent with using MS Office and other computer software normally used in environmental consulting.
AutoCAD experience is preferred.
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) required.
Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required.
Pay Range USD $70,000.00 - USD $80,000.00 /Yr. Analyze portfolio performance and yield optimization opportunities.
